Cimino & Cimino
Privacy Policy
Cimino & Cimino Pty Ltd respects the privacy of people who contact the firm or use this website. This policy explains, in general terms, how information associated with the website is handled.
Information collected through the website
The website host and related technical providers may record information needed to operate, secure and diagnose the website. This may include a device or server address, browser and device type, date and time of access, pages requested, referring page and downloaded documents.
When you use the initial-enquiry form, we collect your name, email address, any telephone number and deadline information you choose to provide, the legal-service category you select and your brief message. That information is used to respond to your enquiry and assess whether we may be able to assist. The required information is needed so that we can understand and respond to the enquiry.
Please do not use the form to send confidential documents, identification, bank details or detailed sensitive information. Submitting the form does not create a solicitor-client relationship. We must complete conflict, identity, scope and engagement checks before agreeing to act.
Enquiry-form email delivery
The enquiry form uses Resend, operated by Plus Five Five, Inc., to deliver the information to our info@ciminoandcimino.com.au inbox. Resend processes email addresses, message content and related email metadata. Resend states that its primary processing operations are in the United States and lists service providers located principally in the United States. Information submitted through the form will therefore be processed outside Australia.
Resend states that it encrypts data in transit and at rest, processes customer data while the service agreement remains active, and deletes customer data within 90 days after account termination. Its current Privacy Policy, Data Processing Addendum and subprocessor list provide further information.
Google Analytics and cookies
This website offers optional Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC, to help us understand aggregated website traffic and page usage. Google Analytics is not loaded unless you select “Accept analytics” in the privacy-choice notice.
If accepted, Google may process information about your device and browser, pages visited, approximate location and interaction with the website. We record contact-intent events when a visitor selects a telephone, email or initial-consultation link, and a successful-form event after an enquiry is sent. These analytics events do not include the visitor’s name, contact details, message or legal-matter details. We have disabled advertising storage, Google Signals and advertising-personalisation signals in our website configuration.
Your analytics preference is stored in your browser so that the website can remember your choice. If analytics is accepted, Google Analytics may also set cookies beginning with _ga. You can decline analytics or change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the website footer. Declining analytics does not restrict access to the website.
Google may process analytics data outside Australia. Further information is available in Google’s Privacy Policy and its information about safeguarding Google Analytics data.
Use and disclosure
Information is used for the purpose for which it was provided, for related business and legal-practice administration, and where otherwise authorised or required by law. We do not add an email address to a marketing list unless the person has requested or consented to that use.
Information may be handled by service providers supporting our website, communications and practice systems. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience; those websites have their own privacy practices.
Security, access and enquiries
We take reasonable steps appropriate to the circumstances to protect personal information held by the firm. Internet communications are not completely secure, and confidential or time-critical legal instructions should not be sent through an unsecured channel without confirming the appropriate method with us.
To request access to or correction of personal information we hold, or to raise a privacy concern, contact us at info@ciminoandcimino.com.au or telephone 0435 680 701.
